Lynda Squally: A Place In My Heart

I was just a kid when I met Billy. I instantly fell in love with his vibrant smile and aura! He made laugh, he made sure I knew I was loved and his hugs felt like an angel wrapped their arms around you. Every visit was filled with laughter and good times! We sold fireworks at my family stand here in the Pacific NW and he came up from Hawai'i Island every summer to help the family for a few years in a row.

I came to Hawai'i Island for my 21st birthday and every moment spent with him and his family was my favorite part of the trip. A few years later, my Mom, brother and oldest niece and nephew came to Hawai'i Island again and met up with Billy and the kids. And man, if that isn't some of my best memories of Hawai'i! Holding Mahina as just a baby and the boys and my niece and nephew playing while we all talked story and shared a meal. I never knew those would be my good 'ol days. I send all my love to the Kenoi family now and know you always have a place in my heart!
